Mark Scott, President & Founder
Mark Scott is responsible for strategy, supporting sales and marketing, and is the architect of the company’s business plan. From 2000 to early 2006, Mark was President, CEO and co-founder of a leading MSP software vendor, N-able Technologies®, which pioneered the concept of providing the technology channel with the software and training to deliver managed services. Today, the "business transformation" model he conceptualized has been adopted by most of the vendors in the MSP market. Prior to this, Mark was a partner in Scott & Company Chartered Accountants, a mid-size public accounting and consulting firm in Ottawa from 1994 to 1999, where he specialized in business process re-engineering and corporate finance for small and medium-sized business (SMB) in high-growth vertical markets such as technology, manufacturing and communications. Scott & Company grew to over 1000 clients with practice areas in audit, accounting, tax, accounting software and consulting.
Mark is a chartered accountant and a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Finance and Economics. Mark has presented at numerous events on utility IT, managed services and technology for the SMB along with writing various articles and white papers on the topics. Mark was nominated as 2006 Next Generation Executive of the Year by the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation. In 2007, he was named one of the Top 25 Newsmakers by Computer Dealer News.

Janice Siddons, Chief Operating Officer
Janice has been a key member of the Utility management team since its inception in 2006. As Chief Operating Officer, Janice oversees the day-to-day activities of The Utility Company including Finance, Operations and Human Resources. Prior to joining Utility, Janice worked as VP of Channel at a leading MSP software vendor. There she oversaw their global channel team - a group of Partner Development Specialists, Solutions Architects, Channel Sales Representatives and Support Services people committed to the technical and business success of their partners.
Janice was recently been named to the elite club of Channel Chiefs by CRN, a leading trade publication that provides vital information for VARs and technology integrators. The 2006 CRN Channel Chiefs are recognized as the Top 50 most influential channel executives

Scott Jackson, VP of Technology Services
Scott is responsible for all of The Utility Company's technology decisions and the delivery of Connected Office services. From 2000 to 2006, Scott was Director of Partner Development for a leading MSP software vendor. There he was responsible for service delivery from a technical and a business perspective and worked closely with over 1,000 service providers to service 25,000 small and medium-sized businesses all over North America.
Scott has a unique background mixture of technology and accounting, having spent the first 10 years of his career working in accounting for small business and then gaining technical expertise as a Senior Systems Engineer with General Electric Information Technology Solutions.

Jason Creally, VP of Sales
Jason is responsible for leading two sales teams at The Utility Company. The first works closely with prospective franchisees taking them through a formal discovery process to determine if the Beyond Managed Services program fits their business objectives. Once onboard, Jason has a separate team of Franchise Development and Inside Sales representatives that work closely with our franchisees to execute on their territory’s specific go-to-market strategy.
Jason has over 13 years of software and services sales experience primarily in the SMB space. Most recently, Jason was Channel Manager at a leading MSP software vendor where he gave numerous conference presentations to the MSP community. He has also sold managed services to 1000’s of end customers throughout North America. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, Jason has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.

Aaron Bradley, Director of Marketing
Aaron Bradley is responsible for vision & execution of the company's aggressive marketing programs, web strategy and brand development. He headlines marketing efforts on both the Beyond Managed Services partnership opportunities side and the Connected Office (end-user focused) service offerings. Also works directly with our partners on direct and indirect campaigning & outreach efforts.
Prior to joining Utility, Aaron was Marketing Manager at mid-market Managed Service Provider where he also supported the marketing efforts of several multinational channel partners like IBM, G.E., Sprint, etc. Aaron brings a unique, entrepreneurial background to the team which includes over 10 years experience in high-tech marketing & brand management in the Ottawa area. A graduate of Carleton University's School of Commerce, Aaron has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Major in Marketing.
